Inquiry about classifieds, spam, and advertising.

I thought I'd ask before doing anything else, since I don't want to be a nuisance, though I didn't see anything in the rules banning this.

Basically, is it acceptable to occasionally post things like links to furbid auctions, fursuit sales, and other such items?  As a fursuit maker I want to be able to let people know about my stuff, and I have a lot of tails and other odds and ends for sale at any given moment.

Let me know if advertising that kind of thing is ok.

I'd say thats fine, but maybe make yourself a thread in the fursuit forum and keep all these posts to the one thread.

Let me elaborate for others to be a little more aware (I am not pointing fingers in particular, just that I am sure that some people will look at this and have no idea what's going on).

If you want to comission something, say like a fursuite, then make a thread specifically for yourself in the appropriate forum, which in this case would be the fursuite forum. If you already have suites made and simply wish to sell, follow the same guidelines.

If you see something nifty in places like furbid, and you hadn't a hand in creating such an item, then please put it in the newy sticky-ed "pointless thread" in the "Furry Chatter" section. This way, if you see a product that makes you go "ooh, ahhh" and want others comments, then we'll be more than willing to provide comments without the wasted space of creating a new thread just for a single nifty product.

If there is a product that is impoortant to you and has a very nifty sotry behind it, then by all means take it to the appropriate place (such as an art product in the art section).
