I am really looking forward to the game Vampire:The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

It takes place in modern day in LA, but with a gothic style backdrop. The Half Life 2 engine is being used in making this game making this game's graphics aboslutely amazing and state of the art.

"vampire the masquerade follows a very drawn out concept. there are 12 vampire clans, each having their own distinctive personalities and members. they are constantly involved in petty fights with each other. they used to be known to the public once, but they have since taken to the shadows and have since become nothing more than a myth. this hiding is called "the masquerade", and they manipulate society and the government from the cover of this masquerade. a vampire needs to be embraced. they need to be chosen and a vampire elder has to drain his blood, and then offer her own blood for a vampire to be formed.. otherwise every damn person would be a vampire. in the game u get vampire abilities, such as cloaking, speed, blood strength, blood healing, and blood functions as mana of sorts. blood can be obtained from using items such as blood pouches or drunk off humans or vampires. vampires only drink what they need, and a spell is performed to make the person forgeta bout the incident, thus no one rememebers about their blood sucking incident, and no one ever gets killed."-Quoted from ViolentSTD @ FalconForums3k
