I was taken at the mention of Dreamcast. XD

I'll have to look into this one.

Ah, another fan of the Dreamcast? It is my favourite console, but I have not had much time for him lately.

'tis my favorite too! I've recently been considering importing a few games, seeing as how Japan has all the luck and are still recieving games for it. Sure, they're mostly shooters and a couple point and click adventure/dating games, but still...

I'm really hoping the homebrew community picks up. Someday I'd like to work on a project, should I actually be able to contribute to one.

I ran BOOB! Covers Central until BOOB! pulled the hosting and I'm still a moderator over at DCEmulation. Smile The only import I've played recently is Ikaruga, which is freaking awesome.

You're a mod at DCEmu?! Whoa, that's awesome!

And yeah, Ikaruga does indeed rock. I originally wanted it for DC, but picked it up for cheap on the GC.
Same thing with  Castle Shikigami, I'm debating on importing or waiting for the cube release. It might help to read it in English though as I'm not good with Japanese and I heard there's actually a story with this one.

The GameCube is about the only current console I don't own, so those aren't an option for me. Maybe I should pick one up though.

You can get a GC fairly cheap these days, especially if you get one used. There are some pretty good games on it too, there's just not the number of games that the Xbox and PS2 have. Or you could save your money for a Revolution, they'll play GC games. Supposedly they're aiming for a $99 price point. Whether or not they actually hit it is another matter, but still.

Right now I'm working on saving money for Anthrocon and a fursuit. Happy And I'll probably at least wait until the Revolution hits shelves, because at the very least that'll cause the value of a GameCube to drop.
