Just got this e-mail a couple minutes ago
Information & Technology Services (ITS) will be performing a network infrastructure upgrade to equipment on the Residential Network on Thursday March 9th to increase network reliability.
The maintenance will cause a network outage that should last no longer than two hours, beginning at 5:00 AM. During this outage you will not have access to the RIT network or the Internet. After 7:00 AM you may need to restart any machines that were turned on during this time frame to obtain access to the Internet. If you have any questions regarding this upgrade please contact the Resnet Office at 475-2600 or 475-4927 TTY.
Thank You,

resnet@rit.eduNow, I'm on CSHnet, not ResNet, so I'm not sure if KitsuNet will be affected. Just thought that I'd warn you in case it does go down.
